It’s a beautiful day, with glorious weather and fresh mountain air. Today is the day for an e-bike tour, which we also like to do with our guests. Leisurely, not too strenuous – so perfect for such a beautiful holiday day.
Lake Carezza is a real eye-catcher at any time of year. Sometimes, when it has snowed a lot in winter, the water glitters wonderfully turquoise in the sunlight. The stuff of fairytales. From Lake Carezza, we head up towards the right, along a beautiful, relatively narrow forest path up towards the settlement. Leaving the Hotel Moseralm behind us, we follow a forest road to the magnificent Kölblegg alpine meadows.
Tip for amateur photographers:
this is the perfect place for unique, scenic motifs amidst the alpine meadows and surrounded by the three mountain massifs Latemar, Catinaccio and Sciliar.
After a short photo break, we saddle up again and drive to the Frommeralm. This is the perfect place for a short break for a refreshing glass of Prosecco. Then it is on to the Ochsenhütte, where we stop for lunch. This idyllic alpine hut offers all kinds of homemade specialities, such as spinach Schlutzkrapfen – which are a local dish like ravioli, you have to try them!
Revitalised and reinvigorated we drive back from the Passo di Costalunga pass to the Lago di Carezza and via path number 8 via the Bewallerhof back to Obereggen. An adventure we should enjoy again as soon as possible. But for now, off to the hotel pool …
